Meet Amelia Zaborac

From film to photography to weddings and special events, I serve my clients as a freelance makeup artist and esthetician, both onsite and in the beauty suite.

After completing my makeup training at the Makeup Designory in Los Angeles in 2013, I’ve worked on feature and short films, commercials, weddings, photoshoots, haunted houses, and more, always striving to elevate my craft with every project.

Having obtained my esthetics license in 2024, I also offer facials treatments, lash lifts and tints, brow treatments, and waxing. Whether I’m helping you prepare for an important event, teaching you how to use your makeup and skincare products at home, or offering support and guidance through beauty services, my goal is to make beauty feel approachable, effortless, and enjoyable.

I developed my eye for beauty and design both within and outside of the world of beauty and esthetics through practice and study in multiple fields, including fine arts, graphic design, video production, live events production, and performing arts.

Now based in Everett, WA, I enjoy illustrating, gardening, studying skincare science, learning about beauty and design trends, gaming, learning Japanese, trying new arts (like embroidery!), and spending time with my beautiful pet snake Summer.

I look forward to working with you and sharing my knowledge, skills, and creativity to help you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin.

My Thoughts on Beauty Standards

I talk a lot about personalized beauty, feeling beautiful, and helping you navigate the world of cosmetics and esthetics services. And I mean every word of it. But I also want to acknowledge that beauty standards have caused a lot of harm, and I don’t want to contribute to that.

I love this industry, the amazing people I work with, connecting with clients, and creating a space for you where you feel seen, cared for, and celebrated. At the same time, I see how beauty standards have hurt people and made them feel “not enough”. It breaks my heart when clients are hard on themselves or apologize for their authentic self.

I believe you never need to “fix” anything or change who you are. I’m not here to ask you to conform, I’m here to lift you up.

I want to follow your heart, helping you lean into what makes you feel amazing and gorgeous. I celebrate what you love about yourself, help find solutions for things that may be weighing on you, keep your skin healthy and happy, and provide services that have you feeling confident, relaxed, and radiant.

I know we’ve all internalized certain beauty standards, and there’s no shame in that. I’ll always meet you with compassion, not judgement, and together we can navigate that tension with kindness and acceptance.

At the end of the day I want to help you feel your best in a way that feels true to you. Without pressure, perfection, or ideals, and with care in a space where you are always enough.
